About the sketch This illustrates a dual 16 ? wave solder pot with a ?chip? wave and a Hollis smooth wave. The smooth wave is also available configured as a mono- directional Lambda wave. The ?chip? wave has a removable baffle, which may be changed over to a different pattern. The variable speed pump motors are individually controlled. Solder temperature is controlled with a digital thermostat which also includes a pump protection circuit, not allowing the pump to operate unless the solder temperature is high enough for safe operation. A high limit setting is also included. Set point and current temperature are digitally displayed in C or F.
