High Uniformity Hot Plates

Wenesco high uniformity hot plates feature remote digital thermostats to control the plate temperature. Current  temperature and set point are digitally displayed. Low watt density heater elements distribute heat evenly across the plate.

 

Typical temperature  uniformity is 1-2% of set point, See example uniformity grids below.

 

All uniform hot plate surfaces feature less than .005 in. surface deviation.  This can be improved to .001 in. on special order.

 

High uniformity is available in most standard hot plates listed on Page 1.  We also custom build special uniform hot plates.

Corrosion-resistant Hot Plates 

 

All of our hot plates can be coated with teflon, ceramic, or epoxy.  Model HP1218, shown here with remote thermostat, was ceramic coated and sealed to inhibit corrosion from nitric acid.

Model HP5 corrosion proof hot plate with optional digital thermostat. The plate shown here has a ceramic coating  to resist corrosive spillage.
 

 

Model HP1212 uniform hot plate shown with a sacrificial stainless steel plate mounted on the anodized aluminum plate. The sacrificial plate is easily replaced after damage by severe caustics
