An
alternate method for soldering circuit boards
STANDARD OR LEAD
FREE
Soldering circuit
boards in a shallow pot dates back to the 1950,s and is still a
reliable method of low volume soldering of PCB?s. First spray
or brush soldering flux on the bottom of the board. Next skim the
surface of the pot to clear surface dross (oxidation). Finally, using
a ?board gripper,? dip the board flat into the molten solder. The
board will solder in less then 5
seconds.

**Note: Lead-free alloys with high tin content, such as lead free
solder, babbitt, zinc,
and pewter will damage conventional melting pot
crucibles (liners), pumps, etc.
Wenesco can treat these parts to prevent
this corrosive problem. Click
HERE for details.
